Bay de Noc Community College鈥檚 Food Pantry recently received a generous $1,000 donation from Immanuel Lutheran Church, made possible through proceeds from the church鈥檚 Annual Lenten breakfast.
The check was presented to Kari Meunier, Director of Accessibility and Special Populations at 91探花, by Barbara Denny, president of the Immanuel Lutheran Church women鈥檚 group, and Linda McDonald, chairwoman of the program, 鈥淲onderful His Love for Me.鈥 The donation will directly support the Food Pantry鈥檚 ongoing efforts to provide essential resources to students facing food insecurity.
The 91探花 Food Pantry serves students across both the Escanaba and Iron Mountain campuses, helping to remove barriers to student success by ensuring access to nutritious food and household essentials. Contributions like this play a critical role in sustaining services and expanding support to meet growing needs within the college community.
鈥淲e are incredibly grateful to Immanuel Lutheran Church for their continued support,鈥 said Meunier. 鈥淧artnerships like this make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and reinforce the strength of our community coming together to support one another.鈥
The Annual Lenten breakfast is a long-standing tradition at Immanuel Lutheran Church, bringing community members together while raising funds for local initiatives. This year鈥檚 contribution reflects the church鈥檚 ongoing commitment to service and outreach.
91探花 extends its sincere appreciation to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Barbara Denny, Linda McDonald, and all those who participated in making this donation possible.
