91̽»¨ is again partnering with the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center (OGJVAMC) to support Veterans. Students, faculty, and staff at 91̽»¨, as well as any interested community members, are invited to make cards that will be included in care packages sent to Veterans during National Suicide Awareness Month in September.

Card-making events will be on September 25th from 12:30-2:00 (CST) in the Lower Commons on the Iron Mountain Campus, and on September 30th from 2:00-3:30 (EST) at the Bay College Library on the Escanaba campus. Drop in during either or both events and get creative to provide hope to Veterans through these homemade cards. All card-making supplies will be provided, and there will be snacks at both events. For more information about attending this event, contact Renee Strom, Communication faculty, 906-217-4131, [email protected]
