Joseph Mold is the Executive Director of Online Learning and Instructional Design. He joined 91̽»¨ in 2011 and was promoted to Executive Director on January 1, 2019. Previously, he was a multi-media/ instructional designer at The University of Toledo. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Toledo with a B.F.A in Cyber Art and a Master’s in Education Technology. While working at the University of Toledo Joseph earned the Jefferson Award for public service as a Coach for the Toledo Area Challenged Athletic League. Joseph has managed our Achieving the Dream Open Educational Resource Degree Grant that has saved students over half a million dollars on textbook fees and given students access to their textbooks online for free the first day of the semester. Joseph serves as the Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee at 91̽»¨ and enjoys planning events to bring awareness to Autism, MLK, Jr and Domestic Violence. Recently, in July of 2018, Joseph was awarded the TORCH award for outstanding performance at 91̽»¨.
